IN MY DEFENSE I do know two other languages, they just don't exist here.

I know Japanese and English obviously, and enough French to get by. And a few words in Latin and German, but I need to learn more.

But not many people speak Latin anymore, apparently. [ So he's got a toe into that non-existent boat maybe. ]

I mean, my second one from home is Ancient Ispanian. Everyone had to learn it, though, even if it wasn't still actively spoken anywhere.

That was the only other language there was, actually. I don't know why you ended up with so many here, or so many countries.

That sounds similar to Latin. Why did you need to learn it?

It was Yulia's language, and it's still used in the Order of Lorelei and in some formal documents. So it's similar to Latin in that way, yes.

Not at all. Even the incantations for fonic artes are typically spoken in our modern language, with few exceptions.

I suppose if I ever somehow happened upon some texts from the Dawn Age that I'd be able to read them, at least, but that seems fairly unlikely.

We needed something more elaborate than the roombas. Having servants living with us would be inconvenient, I don't think he normally builds them.

Some of them use verbalism, too. [ Yeah he doesn't understand why Saphir is upset but what else is new in his struggle in actual relationships. ]

I patented the Roomba 18 years ago, I've made lots of other more elaborate robots since then, many of which are commercially available! You could have checked!
