Between 58 and 60 days, depending on the month. And there are 13 of them, so. You see what I mean about how ridiculously short the years are here.
Ah. I'm sure that's been interesting... I'd like to see more of the technology in other worlds sometime.
If you're planning to stick around in this one for a bit now, you are still welcome to come here for Christmas or whatever, by the way. I got a tree this year and everything.
There wasn't any technology you would have found interesting in Psychedelica since it was based on what I knew. But I've seen more than enough robots by now. All of the transforming and different forms really can't be necessary...
A tree? I've had enough interdimensional travel for a while, so yeah.
A little more than, yes. Which is still bizarre, since a 10-year old on Auldrant looks the same age as a 10-year old on Earth, despite having lived more than twice as many days.
So the age my documents here say I am is really meaningless anyway.
[ And that is why he looks very good for a supposed 41 (not that he's fishing for compliments or anything)!! He's only been here for 9.5 years, not 20.
Though it's actually going to get really weird someday when his license says he's 90 and he looks 55. ]
You know, a Christmas tree. Bringing coniferous trees into your house in December and decorating them is a whole thing.

Was that "yeah" just about staying in this world or were you accepting the invitation?

I don't need you to say it because it's an objective fact!!
Anyway, no, it's a pretty standard part of the holiday, at least in this country. I didn't often bother with it before since it was almost always just Rhoda and me, but it seemed like a good idea this year.
[ ...Ugh, he still feels a little nauseated any time he has to see Subete's name. He should probably ask what that "everything" entailed, to be polite, but he absolutely hates the thought of them having gone to that stupid world together when his invitations to his own had always been rejected, so fuck it. It's the middle of the night anyway. ]
Oh, I'll have to get things in order, then! I'm sure Marona will be happy to hear it as well. What dates were you thinking?
[ After a few seconds he sends another text. Cause he's doing his best, even if his best is still ??? ]
"We" as in Subete and me. We can handle our own lodging, like last time. [ But hey with notice maybe this won't go a million ways south like last time too. ]
[ can subete just stay at the hotel and out of his fucking house though since he is 100% not invited ]
Well, keep me posted!
And let me know if there's anything specific you'd be interested in doing, or anything you'd like for me to have on hand. We need to go ice skating, of course, and there are some nice light displays to look at.
It hasn't snowed all month, actually, which is unusual, but it does look like there might be a snowstorm next week before Christmas. Even if that doesn't happen, though, we can always drive up to Duluth to see some there.
[ He misses how definitive the weather scores were in his world compared to this crapshoot... though it's not like he'd even needed them in Keterburg, since the forecast had never been anything but snow.
He kind of blinks at that question, because he's not awake enough for it to immediately register that "the house" isn't referring to his own home. ]

[ Xmas really wasn't a thing in his old man version of Japan yet. ]
It can be both. Subete owes me after everything that happened in his world.

[ Honestly not talking about the Everything that is Aquarion is better for all parties. ]
I'll get back to you on the specifics, but we won't be staying for the New Year.

[ Unfort Subete like Hikage, does what he wants. ]
Christmas isn't something I've celebrated, but it seems pretty popular in 2020. I'd like to go out if it snows, though.
Did you go ice skating in the house too?

Any snow in the next few days? The Winchester house, though it barely deserves a name at all.

It's supposed to start around Tuesday, it looks like.

[ Honestly fair even if they might not be talking about the same reason. ]
...I might be there soon rather than later.
