"Hmm." Saphir shone the light on the regenerated eye, checking that both pupils reacted in unison -- which they did -- and getting a preliminary look at the eye itself, which from what he could see now did appear perfectly healthy.

He felt a little excitement looking at it, at what seemed to be such a thorough reversal of the past damage; and even if he was starting to have his doubts about how much he'd actually be able to learn from the resurrections and regenerations that occurred here, the potential for learning something useful made his heart beat faster every time.

"I take it this happened all at once -- that you woke up to it being completely healed at the same time that others awoke to their own physical changes?"

He tucked the instrument into his coat pocket and straightened up.

"It likely won't be permanent in that case, as I'm sure you're aware, but there's no sense in not observing what we can in the meantime."

Once Saphir was done with the preliminary once over, Lockon leaned back, rested his hands on his knees and sighed.

"Yeah, I'd gathered it was part of this latest situation. In fact... I'm positive. Because while the first eye healed up in the beginning of all this madness, just this morning I found another... change."

His gaze drifts just past Saphir's shoulder and locked onto a medical poster on the wall. This was a strange thing to get into, but there really was no getting around it.

"In fact, that's what I actually came to see you about. Because I'm not quite sure how to handle it or care for it aside from covering it."

Finally biting the bullet, Lockon turned to the side and bowed his head enough that Saphir would be able to see the back of it. Parting his hair revealed that he was actually wearing his eyepatch backwards. And once he lifted that... a bright blue-green eye matching the other two blinked up at Saphir.
